What is the The Mold IgE Allergy Panel?

The Mold IgE Allergy Panel uses serum to measure immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies to 11 common indoor and outdoor molds and antibodies to Candida albicans. If a mold allergy is present, the immune system overreacts to the inhalation of mold spores. Identifying allergy-triggering molds and their sources can facilitate avoidance of exposure, the first line of defense with an allergy.
