MethylDetox Profile by Cell Science Systems

The MethylDetox Profile detects variants in genes involved in the methyl detoxification pathway and homocysteine metabolism. Genetic variations in this pathway can lead to a variety of chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disorders. This is the swab version of the test. If ordered with an Alcat or other Cell Science Systems blood test, the blood version of this test will be sent.

NutrEval® Add-On: Genomic SNP - COMT by Genova Diagnostics

This test detects variations in the COMT gene. It can only be added to the NutrEval® FMV or NutrEval® Plasma tests. This test cannot be ordered for patients under two years of age.

COMT by Cell Science Systems

This test detects variations in the COMT gene. This is the swab version of the test. If ordered with an Alcat or other Cell Science Systems blood test, the blood version of this test will be sent.
