About the Test

This is a single-marker test measuring copper. Elevated serum copper levels can alter the brain's function, specifically the activity of dopamine and norepinephrine. Elevated serum copper levels are also known to cause zinc levels to deplete and oxidative stress to rise. NOTE: DHA Laboratory blood draws must be performed at Labcorp.
