About the Test

This is a single-marker test measuring zinc in plasma. This test, along with the copper/zinc ratio, is a marker for specific neuroactivity. This test is also used to monitor exposure to zinc and evaluate suspected nutritional inadequacy. NOTE: DHA Laboratory blood draws must be performed at Labcorp.
