Urine Toxic Metals - Timed

The Hair Elements profile provides information regarding recent and ongoing exposure to several toxic metals and the status of specific nutrient elements. This noninvasive screening test requires only .25 grams of hair.

The Urine Toxic Metals test can be used to evaluate exposure to toxic elements and the efficacy of detoxification therapy. This test uses a random urine collection. It is also available as a timed or 24-hour collection.

The Metals Combo Test combines the Blood Metals Panel and the Mercury Tri-Test® to provide a comprehensive analysis of toxic element exposure, nutrient element deficiencies, and the levels of both inorganic mercury and methyl mercury in the body.

This test assesses the retention of toxic metals in the body and the status of essential nutrient elements. This analysis can be done after the administration of a metal detoxification agent to evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. This test DOES NOT come with instructions for using a chelating agent. This test uses a timed collection. You MUST provide the patient with the collection period duration. This test is also available as a random or 24-hour collection.
