About the Test

What is the Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity & Autoimmunity Profile?

The Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity & Autoimmunity Profile from Cyrex Laboratories provides an exact measure of gluten reactivity. By measuring an individual’s immune response to various wheat antigens, patients can be supported in maintaining a gluten-free diet.

What Does the Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity & Autoimmunity Profile Measure?

The Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity & Autoimmunity Profile assesses the body’s immune reactions to specific protein fragments of gluten to identify a patient’s sensitivity.

It helps determine wheat reactivity, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, Celiac disease, food opioid reactivity, intestinal barrier damage, and wheat-related autoimmunity.

Which Patients is the Array 3X Best Used For?

As the Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity & Autoimmunity Profile measures for more distinctive fragments of gluten proteome, this test is beneficial for patients who are negative with conventional celiac testing when showing clinical suspicion for gluten sensitivity. This test is helpful for patients with non-responsive GI symptoms, presenting with multiple-symptom complaints such as chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia, or suffering from depression or neuro-autoimmunity.

Clinical Use:

  1. Identify possible celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, dermatitis herpetiformis, gluten ataxia or other wheat/gluten-related disorder.
  2. Assess autoimmune reactivity associated with wheat proteins and peptides.

Recommended for Patients Who:

  1. Have non-responsive GI symptoms
  2. Present multiple-symptom complaints (including chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia)
  3. Suffer from depression or neuro-autoimmunity

What Type of Sample is Needed to Complete the Array 3X?

The Array 3X – Wheat/Gluten Proteome Reactivity &Autoimmunity Profile requires a blood sample for analysis. The specimen collection kit includes blood collection tubes and return packaging. The sample is to be collected by a phlebotomist using the tubes supplied and then shipped to Cyrex Laboratories for evaluation. Results are sent to your Rupa Health Portal!

About the Test

Measures IgG and IgA immune reactivity to wheat, wheat germ agglutinin, gluten proteins, non-gluten proteins, gluteomorphins+prodynorphins, transglutaminase-2, transglutaminase-3, transglutaminase-6, and microbial transglutaminase or meat glue. Detects possible celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, gluten ataxia, dermatitis herpetiformis, and many autoimmunities that are associated with these proteins and enzymes, including meat glue. Developed, patented, and published by Aristo Vojdani, PhD, MSc, CLS, known as the father of functional immunology, in 2004, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2020, 2023, and 2024.
