The Thyroglobulin Antibody (TgAb) test measures the level of antibodies against thyroglobulin, a protein produced by the thyroid gland. Elevated levels of these antibodies can indicate autoimmune thyroid disorders, such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis or thyroid cancer, and are used to help diagnose and monitor these conditions.
