About the Test

The Metals Urine Test assesses the retention of toxic metals in the body and the status of essential nutrient elements. This analysis can be done after the administration of a metal detoxification agent to evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. This test DOES NOT come with instructions for using a chelating agent. This test uses a timed collection. You MUST provide the patient with the collection period duration. This test is also available as a random or 24-hour collection.
