The OMX TM Organic Metabolomics test from Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory provides an extensive evaluation of urine metabolites to facilitate an understanding of a patient’s metabolic pathways.
The OMX TM Organic Metabolomics test measures functional key markers in the six categories of metabolic processing, amino acid, protein metabolism, nutrition, stress, mood, microbial metabolites, and toxic impacts.
The information from the OMX TM Organic Metabolomics test can provide baseline data for healthy patients in a number of areas, including metabolic and macronutrient processing, nutritional and vitamin status, level and flow of amino acid, detoxification, mood, gut functioning,
and overall well-being. It can be useful for patients with concerns such as chronic health issues and normal blood test results, those who lack energy, have mood disorders, digestive issues, weight loss struggles, and unexplained health concerns.
For this test, a single first-morning urine specimen is required.
There are two options for this test. This is a urine only option. There is also a urine-blood draw option.
Collection kits from Diagnostic Solutions provide all necessary equipment to obtain samples, which are sent back to them for evaluation. Results are sent to your Rupa Health portal!
This test cannot be ordered for patients under 12 years of age.
